- Avoid sunburn
When the patient takes the proper precautions, is very likely to avoid the condition. If lymphedema does occur, it can be handled over a lifetime, and in some cases even reversed with lymphedema products.
Although lymphedema is a chronic condition, you can relieve your symptoms with lyphedema products. There are skin care agents that may include topical and systemic fungicides. To reduce swelling, a trained therapist can perform manual massage to drain the lymph which will give relief. To further relieve symptoms you can also use a special bandage to wrap the swollen area. There are kits available full of lyphedema products or the bandages creams can be purchased separately.
Exercise can help in the early stage of the disease, but as time goes on you will have to be careful not to overdo it. The compression sleeves are another one of the lyphedema products that will help. This sleeve is similar to what is used for varicose veins, can reduce swelling which are all excellent lyphedema products to use.
